The Thematic Symposium of Expo 2030 Rome, held on October 11, 2023, at the prestigious Palais Brongniart in Paris, was a key event in the bid of Rome to host Expo 2030. Organized in collaboration with Filmmaster Events, the symposium brought together international experts, artists, and leaders to address future challenges under the central theme "People and Territories."

The event, hosted by Mia Ceran, featured high-profile speakers, including:

• Dimitri Kerkentzes, Secretary General of the BIE

• Roberto Gualtieri, Mayor of Rome

• Eric Pulier, entrepreneur and innovator

• Licypriya Kangujam, environmental activist

 

The discussions revolved around five key topics:

1. Living and habitat

2. Roads, pathways, networks, borders

3. Territories and inclusion

4. Environment, energy, resources

5. Risk, uncertainty, vulnerability, and resilience

 

High-Level Artistic Performances

The event was enriched by immersive and captivating performances from:

• Roberto Bolle and Nicoletta Manni, icons of international dance

• Gavino Murgia, world-renowned musician

Additionally, ten students from the Global Governance program at Tor Vergata University and the Calcio Sociale project by Massimo Vallati contributed with their insights.
